The objective of this project was to make updates and changes to the university department Website. The major problems that needed changed were the purpose of the site caused confusion and needed to be more precise, the site had very little information for prospective students, businesses, and donors, and lastly the overall look of the site needed updated to a more professional look. Some of the improvements that the students on this project completed were including only university department content, providing clear university department headings, included a frequently asked questions section, added a history page, and information explaining current and past projects. During this process the students and project adviser’s decided on using a university web template that was already created, but changing the background from red to gold. This needed to be approved by an advisor. After approved he sent the team the appropriate javascript and the team used that to build their website.
