The Microsoft Kinect project is being used to research the use of the Microsoft Kinect gaming system to give unique and interactive presentations.  For this  project the student used a Microsoft SDK to create a program in Visual Studio to modify the functionality of the Kinect system.  Kinect device distance in relation to the presenter provided a challenge to the project.  While some gestures were recognized, the system did not respond correctly to all presenter movement, nor did the system record video.
